From downtown Washington and the direction of Virginia
Head north on 16th Street. Cross Florida Avenue and make the next left turn on Belmont Street. Belmont is a horseshoe-shaped street that turns into Crescent Place. Meridian House and White-Meyer House are both on the right, following the turn.
From the direction of Maryland
Head south on 16th Street. Cross Columbia Road and continue for one-half mile. Make a right turn on Belmont Street. This horseshoe-shaped street turns into Crescent Place. Meridian House and White-Meyer House are both on the right, following the turn.
Public Transportation
Take the Red Line Metro to the Dupont Circle stop. Take the Q Street Exit and walk up New Hampshire Avenue to 16th Street and head north. You can also take the Green Line Metro to the U Street/African-American Civil War Memorial/ Cardozo station. Take the 13th Street exit and walk west on U Street for three blocks to 16th Street and head north. From there walk three blocks and turn left on Crescent Place. Meridian House and White-Meyer House are both on the left. Please note that this is an uphill walk of about 15-25 minutes. The S-1, S-2, and S-4 Metrobuses all stop on 16th Street at Crescent Place.
Parking
Meridian's parking lot is located farther down Crescent Place on the right-hand side. Parking is free. Street parking is also available on Belmont Street and Crescent Place. Please note that most of the street is restricted to two-hour parking; however, the right side directly in front of the Meridian and White-Meyer houses is unrestricted
